Best place to grab a some food in km the homemade cherry lemon sundrop is amazing

This was my first time here, and the staff was extremely friendly. It's pretty small inside, with only twelve seats (maybe a couple more), but it's just what you'd expect of a small in-town drive-in. Fair pricing, a close-to-home (for me at least) commute and great food will definitely have me going back.I had Cherry Lemon Sundrop with cherries and a lemon for the first time, too.

Food is fantastic! But the whole place needs to be fixed up or just rebuilt. Hardly ever is there enough places to sit and it makes us want to go elsewhere just because of that even though the food is wonderful. Not that clean either.

Moved to Shelby 3 weeks ago. Love my hamburger places and have been trying out a few.Blackwood's is by far the BEST hamburger drive in that serves burgers I ever had, and I'm 71 yrs old. Love the slaw on the burger. I'm done looking. The girls that work there are very nice and pleasant. I will be eating there often.

The food was OK i guess but I lost my appetite when the server brought the food to the car and told us we couldn't eat there. That would have been OK except for the fact that the parking lot was full of people eating. They must have been running people off so that they could get more customers or something . I'm 70 years old and have never been treated so rude.

1st time there was extremely busy our waitress was Misty she made our time perfect the food was great too much to eat I loved this place

Best burgers in town.

I really enjoyed this experience. I didn't know this place existed so close to home. We bought 3 hot dogs, burger, 3 large drinks, cheese fries and regular fries. We spent $25. The cheese fries were my favorite thing they had. We also tried the homemade cherry lemon Sundrop and it was great. We did have to wait a little while but it looked like they were short staffed and they were super busy. We didn't mind the wait at all. I would go back again.

DIS WAS MY 1ST TYME EATING HERE & IT WAS PRETTY GOOD. MY DAUGHTA & I HAD A FISH SANDWICH CALLED "LOTTA FLOUNDER" FISH SANDWICH & FRIES. THEY DO DINE-IN, CURB SIDE & DRIVE-THRU. IT IS A GOOD EATING SPOT.

Food is good but sometime it takes awhile to get it but it's still worth going for the burgers very good

The food is always good. Great home town burger place. The only reason i left a star out is its just a little pricey some times when you take the family!

Terrible..we were not informed had a 45 min wait. We sat there over 45min. Was told ours was 2 on grill. Well we sat and counted 6 orders came out. Finally left at hour wait. Was our first and last time

Good food. Very small place. So if your looking for elbow room then you might want to order food to go.Other then that, it’s a real good place to eat at.

Great fresh food average wait at lunch time is 20 mi Utes bit well worth it.

Don't use your credit card or debit. Cashier's there will still your info and rob you blind. The owner won't listen to your complaints

Family owned, decent atmosphere and fun place to eat on a date night

Wonderful people, awesome food, delicious shakes and inviting atmosphere. I love going here with my husband on a date night or bringing my 3 kiddos and hubby on family night.

The food was great for the price! The service was good, but the food takes a while to get. If you want a seat inside, be prepared to wait. It is very crowded. I receive the chicken tender basket. It was delicious!

Best place to eat from I just hate that it takes so long to get your food even after you make a call in and it still take 30 more minutes just for you to get you food.

Hamburger meat was fresh, so was the lettuce and tomatoes.

What a treat! Humble drive-in/diner serving delicious burgers, sandwiches and shakes. Don't miss the Lottaburger with two patties on a hoagie topped with slaw, or the Homemade Cherry Lemon Sundrop literally overflowing with Maraschino cherries!

Need a bigger building !!!!!!! Always full and never a place to sit down just like the wiener works in Kings mountain it is way to small .really want to eat there but never enough tables even if you wait still no tables .they have been there for all them years they need to take sum of that money and build a bigger building .can't say they don't have the money cause been in business for all these years.

Came at dinner time service staff was very attentive. Food was microwaved,dry, and cold . I've had freezer food better than this. I'd advise eating elsewhere.

Really good food at a great price. Family owned and operated. Great service and the hamburgers are like homemade. The best cherry-lemon-sundrop around. Can be crowded and not a lot of tables. But they have outside sitting and they will come to your vehicle if you prefer. If you are in town and looking for a good place to eat you just found it.

Our first time dining experience at this modest old diner. Boy...was it great! Had the Lottaburger...on a hoagie roll with slaw and all the trimmings. Very tasty and plenty to eat with the side of crinkle fries. Tea was good too. The waitress was friendly and on the job! Next time in Kings Mointain...this is the place to go!

Really enjoyed our Chili bacon cheeseburgers! Hushpuppies we're good too. My husband thought the crinkle cut fries were just ok though. Bathroom is out back but was clean. Always enjoy trying a local place when out of town. Staff was very friendly.

Old fashioned drive up restaurant, which works beautifully during COVID days. Call ahead to place order. Make sure to get a cherry lemon Sundrop. Good burgers & cheese steaks.
